The CPI engineering team are experts in the design, fabrication, and installation of VOC collection systems. The design of these industrial ventilation systems are critical to achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance, the VOCs must be effectively collected from the process sources, and efficiency routed to the control system.
Unlike other HVAC or other air handling situations in the plant, VOC collection systems must adhere to industrial ventilation design standards to ensure they can handle the velocities and pressure necessary to ensure capture at the process source.
Detailed VOC collection system engineering will include:
- Ductwork design details and layout
- Process bypass damper design details and layout
- Balancing dampers as required to ensure proper process flow
- Process exhaust analysis to ensure materials of construction are suitable for any corrosive compounds present.
- Cleanout doors are required for periodic duct cleaning activity.
- Clean In Place (CIP) nozzle design features for systems which require frequent cleaning.
