This quick video explains what catalytic oxidizers are and how they reduce VOC.
Catalytic oxidizers are industrial air pollution control devices that destroy Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Pollutants with over 99% efficiency.
The process works by pulling emissions through a heat exchanger that preheats the incoming air using energy from the hot exhaust stream. The preheated emissions then pass through a line burner where temperatures reach 500-650°F to activate the catalyst.
In the catalyst chamber, VOCs are converted into CO2, water vapor, and energy. The hot, clean exhaust passes back through the heat exchanger, achieving 60-75% thermal efficiency and minimizing fuel consumption.
This proven technology helps manufacturers maintain EPA compliance across industries, including bakery, pharmaceutical, paint, and chemical processing.
