One question which we frequently receive is about the length of the process of building and installing an oxidizer. There are many factors which influence the oxidizer installation process, including the client’s procurement process and the complexity of the equipment and location of the site. In this series of blogs, we’ve been taking a look at a typical industrial process utilizing a standard thermal oxidizer, catalytic oxidizer, or regenerative thermal oxidizer. We’ve previously discussed the timelines for the client buying process and oxidizer delivery and installation. In this final blog, we’ll look at the timeline for compliance testing.

The answer to that question is complicated, depending on a variety of factors such as the client’s procurement process and the complexity of the equipment and location of the site. To help build understanding of the decisions that go into this process, we wanted to take a closer look at a typical industrial process utilizing a standard thermal oxidizer, catalytic oxidizer, or regenerative thermal oxidizer. In our first blog on this topic, we looked at the client buying process. Today, we’ll look at the timeline for oxidizer deliver and installation.

Automotive Parts Coater Exceeds Local Air Quality Requirements

CPI Installs Thermal Oxidizer for VOC Control of Engine Dynamometer Test Cells

The worlds largest automotive manufacturer recently installed our QUADRANT SR-Series Thermal Oxidizer to destroy CO and VOC emissions from the exhaust generated by an engine dyno test cell facility. The test facility houses several engine, transmission, and chassis dynamometer’s for gasoline and diesel testing. The manufacturer demanded a system that would provide the highest uptime reliability and highest performance.

Canadian Biofuel Manufacturer requires Air Pollution Control

With the expected rise in oil prices in the next few years, the increasing instability of the world oil supply, and the increasing demands from the EPA for cleaner fuels and production processes, Food and Plant based Ethanol production is on the rise. Along with this rise in production comes an increased requirement for Air Pollution Control Solutions in the Bio-Fuel’s market.

Can Coater Chooses the Quadrant SR Thermal Oxidizer for VOC Control

A metal can decorator worked with Catalytic Products International, Inc to design a unique Thermal (recuperative) Oxidizer. A recuperative thermal oxidizer was chosen over other thermal oxidation systems because of high solvent loads exhausted from the company’s can coating lines and a desire to integrate customized energy recovery system.

Flexographic Printer installs Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer for VOC Control

A flexographic printer recently installed a TRITON-Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) from Catalytic Products International, Inc. CPI provided a turnkey installation which included engineering and design of the RTO, the fugitive enclosure system to meet method 204, the ductwork system from all presses, foundation work, electrical integration, and rigged the oxidizer. The project was installed on time and without any added costs.
